Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, successful and hardworking teaching assistant 3.
The successful candidate would be expected to work with the teacher in a collaborative way, in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils, including those with special needs and/or bilingual needs, and to establish positive, supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community, and by contributing ideas and strategies. Will assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum and it's differentiation amongst pupils.
Worden is a comprehensive Converter Academy that has a proven track record of sustained improvement and growth. In January 2025 the school underwent its third consecutive, and successful, Ofsted inspection. They confirmed that Academy@Worden continues to be a good school. They also highlighted that we have a strong and enthusiastic leadership team who have brought about improvement in all areas of the curriculum, including pupils personal development. Leaders have improved outcomes for pupils in the GCSE examinations. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- Grade A* - C at GCSE or O Levels/CSE in English & Maths (equivalent to A* - C GCSE)
Desirable Qualifications
- Other Post 16 or Higher Education qualifications

- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality
