Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Bartender- Whiskey and Seaweed by Clare Smyth to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
A Bartender- Whiskey and Seaweed by Clare Smyth delivers refined, personalised service, engaging guests with confidence, expertise, and discretion while crafting and serving exceptional wines, spirits, and bespoke beverages to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand excellence.
As a Bartender, you will curate an elevated Whiskey & Seaweed Bar experience, anticipating guest preferences, demonstrating outstanding product and pairing knowledge, and upholding the art of luxury hospitality through every interaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering attentive, seamless service by accurately receiving and fulfilling guest orders in a timely and polished manner
Expertly preparing and presenting a curated selection of beverages, including classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and non‑alcoholic offerings
Taking food orders and supporting the floor team to ensure an effortless and cohesive service flow
Maintaining expert knowledge of menus, seasonal updates, and promotional offerings to confidently guide guest choices
Ensuring the bar and service areas are immaculately maintained, organised, and guest‑ready at all times
Managing all guest transactions with discretion, accuracy, and efficiency
Responding to guest enquiries with professionalism, warmth, and solution‑focused service
What are we looking for?
A Bartender representing Hilton’s luxury brands embodies service excellence, teamwork, and attention to detail. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
Prior experience in a refined cocktail bar or premium hospitality environment
Proven ability to craft classic cocktails with precision and consistency
Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Impeccable personal presentation and advanced communication skills
The agility to adapt calmly and positively in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused setting
A genuine passion for delivering personalised, memorable, and elevated guest experiences
Prior experience within a luxury or ultra‑luxury hospitality or service‑led environment is highly desirable.
