Job Summary
Fairburn House is a residential care home for adults aged 16-60 years old with learning difficulties, sensory impairment and physical disabilities.
We are looking to employ a full time Care Assistant, to join our team. Previous experienced is preferred but not essential as full training is provided. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and have an interest in caring for vulnerable people. Day to day you will be responsible for providing personal care and assisting our residents with all of their care needs. The work environment shall be maintained to the highest standard and should be welcoming, friendly and professional.
You will be required to register to the PVG disclosure scheme, alongside providing satisfactory references. An SVQ level 2 in Health & Social care or above is also advantageous but not essential.
This is a challenging and varied but rewarding role. The shift is typically around 12 hours, starting at 7:45pm and finishing at 8am.
Due to the location of our care home there is no public transport available, own transport is essential.
