At Bake & Brew, our Gloucester café is busier than ever – and we’re growing our friendly crew! We’re passionate about great coffee, tasty food, and creating a warm, welcoming space for our customers. If you’re a skilled cook with a love for customer service and simple food done well then this could be the job for you.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced cook who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. We need someone that can get stuck straight into the kitchen, preparing our fresh menu items such as:
- Breakfasts, bacon sandwiches, porridge & toast
- Our famous homemade sausage rolls
- Full english breakfast
- Soups
- Salads & Quiches
(Note: This role does not involve baking or cake-making.)
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of similar kitchen experience
- Reliability – must be able to work weekends and 7am starts
- Comfortable working independently whilst still being a team player (everything from washing up to clearing tables will be expected, its a small team and we all muck in together!)
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine love of hospitality
- Food safety level 2 or above
- Allergen training
