Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the organisation's financial health and integrity. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Oversee the organisation’s budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and provide strategic insights for decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain and optimise utilisation of accounting software such as , Sage, Estimation , and other relevant systems.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all financial activities.
- Coordinate internal audits and liaise with external auditors during financial audits.
- Supervise the finance team, providing guidance on financial procedures and best practices.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and manage organisational reserves effectively.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Assist in tax planning and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within a dynamic organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Demonstrable experience managing accounts payable processes and financial reporting standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £488.40-£772.74 per week
