Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a lively environment while contributing to a memorable customer experience.
Minimum 30 hours
Working 5 shifts over 7 depending on business, including, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and courteously
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables when required
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including responsible alcohol service
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of serving techniques and bar operations is desirable
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- A friendly, professional attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Candidates Must
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have a good level of written and spoken English
