Experienced Warehouse Operative
We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Warehouse Operative to work within our small but dedicated hardworking team.
Based on the outskirts of Leeds, Hannam’s Reloading Ltd has been importing and distributing shooting sports related equipment and accessories to both trade and retail customers for over 40 years.
This is a diverse role within the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse. You will assist with the efficient running of the warehouse operations, from receiving to shipping and stock management. You will be a great communicator, collaborating with team members across the organisation to ensure service excellence to both internal and external customers. You will be focused on improving productivity whilst maintaining best practice and a safe working environment,
An interest of reloading or experience in shooting sports would be an advantage, though not essential as training will be given.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Moving, unpacking, and checking both boxed and palleted deliveries
- Ensuring stock is stored appropriately in the correct locations and all documentation correctly completed
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders
- Promoting a safe working environment by adhering to health & safety requirements
- Reporting stock levels
- Collaborating with team members to improve accuracy and productivity
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Previous warehouse experience essential
- A strong understanding of warehouse operations
- Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) in particular experience using NetSuite an advantage
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work with high levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Forklift truck licence an advantage
This is a full-time position
· Salary negotiable dependant on experience circa £27K
· Office Hours 8.30-5.00, Mon-Fri (1hr Lunch break-unpaid).
· 32 days leave including bank holidays and Xmas closure
