Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Hard Landscaper to join our dynamic team, dedicated to creating stunning outdoor environments through expert construction and installation of hardscape features. Responsibilities
- Construct and install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and decorative stonework using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators and compactors safely and efficiently to prepare sites for construction.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks, ensuring the longevity and quality of completed projects through regular upkeep.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Manage ground preparation activities like grading, soil stabilization, and drainage solutions to ensure stable foundations for structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and equipment.
- Support irrigation system installation and repairs as part of integrated landscape projects when needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or landscaping with a focus on hardscape installation or groundskeeping.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices combined with mechanical understanding of tools and machinery.
- Hands-on experience operating power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other construction equipment.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance is a plus.
- Strong background in gardening, horticulture, or groundskeeping enhances your ability to integrate hardscape features seamlessly into outdoor environments.
- Ability to read technical drawings or plans accurately and follow detailed instructions effectively.
- Commitment to safety standards with previous experience working in outdoor construction settings.
