Duties
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and special treatments with precision and flair.
- Deliver personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Mentor and support junior stylists by sharing techniques, offering guidance, and fostering professional development
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and maintaining a smooth workflow
- Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions or makeup application to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and the salon environment to uphold health standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a senior stylist or similar role within a busy salon environment
- Strong knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products
- Skilled in barbering with the ability to execute precise cuts for diverse hair types
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
- Experience in mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative atmosphere
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to promote additional services such as eyelash extensions or makeup application
- Ability to handle front desk operations efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
