We are looking for a full time Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bright Start Childcare @ Solway House, in Benton. The Applicant must have a level 3 or above qualification in childcare. We offer a full induction with ongoing mentoring support; we also support and encourage our staff to continue their professional development through training. The full time applicant will be contracted to 40 hours per week. You will work with children 0-5 years. You will be required to hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate or complete it through our training program within 3 months of starting.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and run activities for the children in line with the Early Years Statutory Framework and following our curriculum, taking into account children’s individual needs and abilities and providing a safe, caring stimulating educational environment.
Provide high quality Early Years Education for the children by observing, supporting and extending their learning and development opportunities.
Supervise and support children at all times. Promoting positive values, attitudes and behaviour.
Promote an inclusive social, physical, creative, emotional and intellectual play space for all children using a range of resources and personal skills so that all children feel valued and involved.
The applicant will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure and provided 2 satisfactory references.
