HR Advisor ER - Healthcare (maternity cover)

THE ROLE:
Join us as our HR Advisor within the HR Dept.
You will be supporting the Head of HR in delivering a customer focused HR Management service to the business. You act as lead advisor on all employee relation matters, providing support and advice across the business.

WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED:
Swadlincote, this role is site based, there may also be some requirement to travel.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- You will support the HR team in the employee life cycle including recruitment, ER, engagement, well-being, training, and organisational development.
- Provide assistance to the Head of HR with any HR activity.
- You assist in the management of staff relationships and respond to any queries or problems they may have whilst managing expectations.
- Provide support and advice on all Company policies and procedures.
- Assist department heads with performance monitoring across all sites.
- Use HR systems to accurately access , input and compile HR data.
- Review absence levels at all sites and provide support to Line Managers when required.
- Provide ER guidance to Manager as and when required.
- Assist the Head of HR in policy design and and implementation.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist the HR team in all people projects.
- Act as lead auditor for HR, conducting annual gap analysis to ensure all policies and procedures are in line with audit expectations.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to identify training needs, supporting the design and delivery of employee induction and management development programmes.
- Actively promote all well-being, diversity, and inclusivity activities and assist in absence monitoring as required
- OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and/or remotely.
- You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have:
- Experience in producing HR reports to a high level.
- Have a passion for people with the ability to drive a positive culture throughout the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience of managing employee relations, policy advice and compliance, performance management and HR operations.
- Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks.
- Have strong influencing and negotiation skills.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
