We are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant / Trainee Conveyancer to join our practice in Langport.
This role would suit someone with solid administrative experience who is looking to build a career in conveyancing, as well as candidates who already have some conveyancing experience and are looking to develop further. We are looking for someone who wants to develop their skills and become a long-term member of the team.
The Role
You will assist with residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, supporting a fee earner with file management, client communication, document preparation and general administration.
You will be trained on our proprietary case management software, but you should already be comfortable using office applications and learning new systems.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous administrative experience
- Good communication skills and a professional manner with clients
- A responsible and dependable approach to your work
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confidence using office software and computer systems
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Desirable
- Experience in a legal, property or conveyancing environment
- Experience dealing directly with clients by telephone and email
- Familiarity with the conveyancing process
