High Grange Developments is looking for a motivated Trainee Site Operative to join our growing construction and property development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in construction. No previous experience is essential – we’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and pride in producing high-quality work.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you’ll gain practical experience across a variety of refurbishment, renovation and development projects throughout West Cumbria.
Responsibilities
Assisting skilled tradespeople on site
Loading and unloading materials
Keeping sites clean, organised and safe
Assisting with demolition and strip-out works
Basic construction and landscaping tasks
Using hand and power tools under supervision
Following health and safety procedures
Supporting the team wherever required
About You
Essential:
Reliable and punctual
Hard-working with a positive attitude
Keen to learn new skills
Able to work as part of a team
Full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one)
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
