Step Into Character This Seasonal Season – Join Our Children’s Events Team!
Do you love performing, bringing characters to life and creating magical experiences for children and families?
We’re looking for fun, confident and enthusiastic Seasonal Event Colleagues to join the Bents team for our Halloween and Christmas children’s parties.
From transforming into a wickedly wonderful Witch at Halloween to becoming one of Santa’s cheerful Elves at Christmas, you’ll help create a brilliant atmosphere and make each event a memorable experience for our younger visitors and their families.
This could be the perfect seasonal role for a drama or musical theatre student, budding performer, or simply someone with a big personality who loves entertaining and engaging with children!
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Children’s Events Team, you’ll get into character and help our seasonal parties run smoothly. You’ll welcome and interact with children and families, support the event activities and timings, and most importantly, help create a fun and magical atmosphere from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for colleagues who are:
- Friendly, welcoming and full of enthusiasm
- Confident engaging with children and families
- Comfortable getting into character and dressing as a Witch or Elf
- Calm, patient and approachable
- Great communicators with excellent customer service skills
- Organised and able to follow event timings and running orders
- Proactive and adaptable when things get busy
- Safety-conscious and responsible
- Happy working as part of a team
- Passionate about creating memorable Halloween and Christmas experiences
Previous performance experience isn’t essential, although this role would be particularly suited to musical theatre or drama students looking to gain experience.
Our Seasonal Events & Shifts
Halloween Parties – Witch Characters
Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th October
Hours: 4:30pm – 7:00pm
Christmas Tea Parties – Elf Characters
1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th, 16th & 18th December
Hours: 4:30pm – 7:00pm
Christmas Breakfasts – Elf Characters
Saturday 5th, 12th & 19th December
Hours: 9:00am – 11:30am
We’re looking for two colleagues for each event, so please let us know your availability to work when applying.
