About the Role
Are you enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about inspiring young minds? Join Young Engineers Worcester as a STEM Teaching Assistant Apprentice and help deliver engaging, hands-on STEM learning through after-school and weekend clubs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real classroom experience while working towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
What You’ll Be Doing
As a STEM Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will:

Support STEM instructors in delivering engaging lessons

Assist with planning and preparing learning activities

Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom

Support pupils in achieving learning goals (e.g. guided reading, activities)

Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to instructors

Assist with behaviour management in line with school policies

Carry out basic administrative tasks

Help deliver fun, hands-on STEM sessions that inspire curiosity and learning

Experience working with children (schools, clubs, youth work, etc.)

Ability to work after-school hours and weekends

Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Requirements:

Must complete a DBS check and safeguarding training before starting
