The Role
The successful candidate will work independently across a range of domestic and commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key duties include:
- Electrical installation work in domestic and commercial environments
- Inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Maintenance and remedial works
- Working on single-phase and three-phase systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Completing RAMS and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Managing van stock and materials effectively
- Liaising professionally with clients and site teams
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
- City & Guilds 2399 Inspection & Testing
- Valid JIB, ECS or CSCS Card
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Approved Electrician
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395
- Experience in both domestic and commercial sectors
- EV Charging qualifications
- Solar PV and Battery Storage experience
- IPAF and PASMA certifications
