Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bar staff member to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Manage stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with inventory checks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with licensing laws.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or bar service within a busy restaurant or pub environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage customers professionally.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and attentiveness to detail.
