Learning and Development Administrator (People Experience) – London
The role
The L&D Administrator is responsible for providing proactive, seamless administrative support for L&D activity across the firm, including support for the Early Careers team. The role plays an important part in helping the team deliver a high-quality development experience.
The responsibilities
- Work with members of the L&D team to coordinate training, send pre-work and follow up on post-course feedback.
- Keep the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) up to date, including scheduling live training, updating courses and maintaining the course
- Act as the key contact for the L&D and Early Careers mailboxes, responding within agreed timescales and referring emails to the appropriate team members.
- Support all large learning events, including managing registration and logistical requirements, ensuring risk assessments are completed and attending events
- Review and update the intranet in line with requirements from the wider L&D team.
- Run reports from the firm’s HR and Learning Management systems to provide relevant data to the L&D team as required.
- Support the delivery of in-person training courses by managing room bookings, logistics and on-site support for external facilitators.
- Ensure all L&D and Early Careers invoices are processed and managed accurately and on time.
- Ensure trainees keep their training files up to date, sending regular reminders where needed.
- Support the Early Careers team with reporting exam results, ensuring they are collated and shared accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and discuss proposed changes with the wider L&D team.
- Work with the wider People Experience team to build strong relationships and engage effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Work in an agile way, supporting the wider team with a range of tasks and projects during peak periods. This will provide opportunities to broaden your experience and exposure to different areas of L&D.
The team
The role sits within the L&D team, which forms part of the wider People Experience department, and reports to the L&D Assistant Manager. The department includes professionals across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Reward and Benefits, Early Careers and Learning and Development. It offers a friendly and supportive working environment. It is a busy department where confidentiality, stakeholder management and a proactive approach are essential.
You
- Experience of working with a range of processes, procedures and systems, typically gained in a professional services environment.
- Strong data literacy.
- Ability to work to specified standards, service levels and timeframes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships. May be required to influence using technical knowledge.
