Location: Central Scotland (with occasional working away)

£21.00 – £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
About Us
CMC Climate Ltd is a growing Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality installation, maintenance and refurbishment projects throughout Scotland. We pride ourselves on our workmanship, customer service and professional approach, and we're looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a varied position working across commercial and industrial sites carrying out electrical installations, maintenance and testing. You will be part of a skilled team delivering projects to a high standard while maintaining excellent health and safety practices.
Typical work includes:
- Commercial electrical installations
- Distribution board installations and upgrades
- Power and lighting installations
- Containment systems (tray, basket, trunking and conduit)
- Industrial wiring and machinery supplies
- Fault finding and repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Electrical testing and inspection (advantageous)
- Working alongside mechanical engineers on M&E projects
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable Qualifications
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Experience within commercial and industrial environments
- Experience working alongside mechanical services installations
