Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, mulching, and turf care to enhance outdoor environments.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision to prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects.
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure efficient water management across sites.
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report findings promptly.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction or landscaping equipment and materials.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of team members during all tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with operating machinery such as excavators is advantageous.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks is desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems or experience with site preparation is a plus.
- Valid work authorization and a commitment to adhering to safety standards at all times.
