Senior CAD Technician (Joinery)Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior CAD Technician (Joinery) to join our team. In this role, you will help bring bespoke joinery projects to life, from initial concept through to final installation. You will work across a range of residential and commercial projects, producing high-quality technical designs and visuals that support exceptional craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

What you'll do
- Create detailed joinery drawings and technical plans using CAD software and specialist joinery design tools
- Produce 2D and 3D designs, models, and specifications to support manufacture and installation
- Work closely with clients, architects, designers, and project managers to understand design briefs and turn ideas into practical solutions
- Prepare clear visual presentations and design concepts to help communicate ideas effectively
- Review designs throughout the production and installation process to help ensure quality, accuracy, and a high standard of finish
- Support multiple projects at once while keeping a strong focus on detail, deadlines, and design quality
- Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and joinery methods to bring fresh ideas and best practices into your work
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a similar CAD Technician, Joinery Designer, or related design role
- Strong experience producing technical drawings for bespoke joinery, furniture, or interior fit-out projects
- Proficiency in CAD and SketchUp, with strong 2D and 3D design capability
- A solid understanding of technical drawing standards, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to balance creativity with technical precision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working with internal teams and clients
- Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage several projects at once
Nice to have
- Experience in bespoke joinery or furniture design
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for visual presentations
- Experience creating project visuals or presentation materials for clients
