We have an opportunity for a MET Technician to join our team at Yeovil Accident Repair.
This is a hands-on role where you will remove, repair and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles, helping to ensure every vehicle is repaired safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Remove, refit and repair mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles.
Dismantle and reassemble vehicles safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer repair methods.
Identify and report any additional damage, faults or required parts during the repair process.
Use technical data, job cards and diagnostic information to complete repairs accurately.
Complete job documentation, recording parts, materials and time used on each repair.
Ensure vehicles are repaired to a high standard and meet safety requirements before return to customers.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area, following health, safety and environmental procedures.
Work closely with the Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Controller and wider repair team to support efficient workflow.
What you will need to be a MET Technician at Yeovil Accident Repair.
Previous experience as an MET Technician, Vehicle Technician or in a similar accident repair/bodyshop role.
Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge.
Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality repairs.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
A team-focused approach and good communication skills.
ATA or IMI accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
A full UK driving licence is preferred.
Hours of work will be Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.30, Fri 07.30 - 16.30.
A uniform will be provided
