Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Manager to lead our team in delivering person-centred support strategies. The successful candidate will oversee behaviour support programmes, ensure the implementation of care plans, and promote positive outcomes for individuals with behavioural needs. Duties
- Develop, review, and oversee personalised behaviour support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead and supervise staff to ensure the consistent application of positive behaviour strategies.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on behaviour management techniques and care plan adherence.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support interventions, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress notes, and incident reports in line with organisational policies.
- Foster strong communication with individuals receiving support, their families, and external professionals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular team meetings and reflective practice sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards relating to positive behaviour support.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing positive behaviour support programmes within health or social care settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation, reporting, and data analysis related to care plans.
- Demonstrable knowledge of legislation and best practices concerning behaviour management and care planning.

Pay: £29,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
