Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Roadside Technician to provide essential support and repair services for vehicles in need of assistance on the roadside. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing a variety of vehicle issues, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and assess vehicle problems.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical faults accurately.
- Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment, including assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Carry out welding and other specialised repair procedures when necessary.
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts utilised.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently while prioritising customer safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with mechanical repairs, equipment maintenance, or similar roles.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and troubleshooting techniques.
