Are you an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior/ Care Assistant to join our team at a complex residential care home. In this vital role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our care team to provide the highest standard of person-centred care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the care team on shift.
- Administer medication and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual residents' needs.
- Provide emotional and physical support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents' families and external healthcare professionals.
- Assist with training and mentoring of new and junior staff members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Care Assistant, ideally with senior responsibilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of care regulations and best practices.
- A compassionate and patient approach to care.
- Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent) are highly desirable.
