We're looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our growing team. If you're customer-focused, technically skilled, and enjoy working independently, we'd love to hear from you.
Salary - £40,000 (OTE - £53,000)
Callout and Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, exchange, commission, and test dual fuel smart meters
- Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on smart metering equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues efficiently
- Complete site surveys prior to installation where required
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service at every appointment
- Liaise with colleagues and customers to coordinate installations
- Safely use hand tools and power tools during installations and repairs
- Work across residential and commercial properties
Requirements:
- Experience installing dual fuel smart meters
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and installation instructions
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications are desirable but not essential for experienced engineers
