APG Build Limited is the construction and delivery arm of APG Capital, specialising in the delivery of residential apartment schemes, conversions and new-build developments across Merseyside and the North West.
We are a fast-growing, hands-on development and construction business with a strong pipeline of live and upcoming projects. Our focus is on delivering high-quality residential schemes efficiently, safely and commercially, with clear control over programme, cost, quality and site standards.
Role purpose
Take day-to-day ownership of a residential construction site, converting the programme into safe, high-quality daily production with good co-ordination, early escalation and disciplined handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors, direct labour, materials, logistics, welfare and site standards.
- Maintain and drive the short-duration programme.
- Work closely with Contracts Manager & Operations Manager to deliver the project Master Programme
- Hold daily briefings, coordinate work forces and manage sub contractor performance.
- Maintain H&S compliance and manage sub contractor RAMS, inductions, permits, inspections and housekeeping.
- Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with issued drawings and specifications.
- Inspect quality, identify defects early
- Maintain a complete daily diary, labour/plant/delivery records and progress photos.
- Raise RFIs, notices, design constraints, material risks and programme threats before impact.
- Coordinate Building Control, warranty, consultant and client inspections.
- Submit the weekly report accurately and on time.
- Manage snagging, commissioning, completion evidence and handover actions.
Experience and qualities required
- Demonstrable experience coordinating construction information, design, pre-construction or handover on live building projects.
- Strong working knowledge of drawings, specifications, RFIs, registers, meeting actions and document control.
- Evidence of working across several projects or multiple workstreams without losing deadlines.
- Clear written communication, confident chasing and the discipline to close actions.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and document-management capability.
- Experience of Residential apartments, conversion or refurbishment experience.
- Experience of planning conditions, Building Control, warranty providers, O&M manuals and practical completion.
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
