Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for both staff and visitors. To work TERM TIME ONLY plus one week deep clean in the summer holidays. From 3.15 p.m. until 6.15 p.m.
Applicants must have a current enhanced DBS certificate and live local to the area.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential, ideally, a minimum of two years school cleaning experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
