Production Packer
£31,000 to £35,000 plus benefits Overtime also available
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive production packer to join a fast-paced production environment based in St. Neots. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
You’ll be part of a well-established manufacturing operation producing high-quality products for a respected and growing business. Main Responsibilities for the Production Packer:
- Feed, pack, strip, inspect, and sort products on the production line
- Carry out routine quality checks and promptly report any concerns
- Support changeover activities and maintain high 5S housekeeping standards
- Monitor for abnormal running conditions and act according to procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
- Affix product identification labels in a quality-controlled manner
Skills/Experience required for the Production Packer:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packing role preferred, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Flexible approach to overtime when required
- Good communication skills and a proactive work attitude
Working Hours for the Production Packer:
- We have two shift patterns available
- Either Permanent Continental shift pattern a mixture of nights & days
- OR
- Permanent 12 hour 4 on 4 off night
