Hours - Part-time, including evenings and weekends
Pay - Competitive, based on experience
John Dory's Quorn is a busy, friendly fish and chip shop looking for part-time kitchen team members. This is a hands-on kitchen role — frying, food prep and keeping the kitchen spotless.
The Role
- Frying fish, chips and other menu items to a consistently high standard
- Managing frying ranges, oil quality and cooking times
- Food prep — chipping potatoes, battering fish, preparing sides
- Cleaning and keeping the kitchen to food hygiene standards
- Keeping up with pace during busy periods
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and happy to work as part of a small team
- Able to stay calm and work quickly when it gets busy
- Experience in a fish and chip shop or fast-food kitchen is a bonus — full training given for the right person
- Good hygiene habits; food hygiene certificate a plus (we can help you get one)
- Must be available evenings and weekends
