Swimming Teacher (Self-Employed) – Sunday Mornings
Dolphin Swim School is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our small and growing swim school based at Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre.
We specialise in small-group lessons with a strong focus on water confidence, technique development and creating a positive learning environment for every swimmer.
Hours
- Sunday mornings
- Approximately 3.5 hours per week
- Potential for additional hours in the future
Pay
- £18- £20 per hour
- Self-employed position
Essential Requirements
- Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent)
- Current RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) or equivalent rescue qualification
- Current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Friendly, professional and reliable
- Ability to work independently and build positive relationships with swimmers and parents
Desirable
- Safeguarding qualification
- Previous experience teaching group swimming lessons
- First Aid qualification
About the Role You will be teaching a range of abilities, from beginner swimmers building confidence in the water through to more advanced groups developing technique and stamina.
The lessons are well established, and you'll be joining a supportive swim school with a loyal parent base and a strong reputation for small-group teaching.
