An exciting opportunity to join Fairfield High School for Girls
Fairfield High School for Girls is seeking to appoint an organised, highly accurate and motivated Exams and Data Administrator to join our school team.
This is an important and varied role, combining responsibility for the administration and coordination of examinations with the accurate management, analysis and reporting of pupil and school data.
Working closely with the Trust Data and Systems Lead, Senior Leadership Team and Examination Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring that our school data is accurate, timely, accessible and useful to staff and other stakeholders. You will also support the planning and administration of GCSE, vocational and internal examinations.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent attention to detail and is able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a busy school environment.
As Exams and Data Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Trust Data and Systems Lead, Senior Leadership Team and Examination Officer with the accurate reporting and management of school data.
Assisting with the planning, preparation and administration of external and internal examinations.
Managing pupil and school data within the school's MIS system.
Preparing accurate reports relating to pupil progress, examinations, assessment, attendance and behaviour.
Supporting the production of reports to parents across all year groups.
Supporting the production of statutory School Census returns and ensuring that information is accurate and complete.
Providing data and information to staff, parents and external agencies in accordance with data protection requirements.
Managing pupil data and timetable change requests within the school's MIS.
Supporting the organisation of daily staff cover when required.
Providing administrative support to Deputy Headteachers and other members of staff.
Liaising effectively with staff, pupils, parents/carers, other schools and educational organisations.
This is a role where accuracy really matters. You will be trusted with confidential information and will need to work methodically, use your own initiative and ensure that information is maintained to a consistently high standard.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:
A good level of general education, including GCSE English Language and Mathematics at A–C or equivalent*.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
A meticulous and organised approach to your work.
The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Experience of producing accurate and timely reports.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
The ability to handle confidential information sensitively and appropriately.
The ability to work independently using your own initiative, while also contributing positively as part of a wider team.
A flexible approach to working in a busy office environment.
Experience of working within an education setting, using a school MIS such as Arbor, working with school assessment systems or school performance measures, and using data analysis tools would be advantageous. However, these are desirable rather than essential, and we would welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within school administration, examinations and data management.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience across a wide range of school data and examination processes, while working alongside colleagues across the school and Trust. The role also provides opportunities for ongoing professional development and further training.
Stamford Park Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and the successful applicant will be required to undertake appropriate pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
We are committed to equality of opportunity and to creating an inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
If you are highly organised, confident working with data and looking for a varied and rewarding role within a school environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
