Responsibilities
- Supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
- Lead and motivate staff, including baristas and food prep team members, fostering a positive team environment
- Oversee food production, preparation, and serving processes to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food safety practices are followed
- Train staff on food safety procedures, customer service excellence, and operational protocols
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding guest experience
Experience
- Proven management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably within a coffee shop or café environment
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation techniques
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and staff development
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary practices, and food safety regulations
- Barista experience is highly desirable to understand coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles combined with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining operational standards
