The Compass at Gloucester Family Care offers an engaging, nurturing and supportive Alternative Provision service, for children and young people aged 4-25.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our growing Compass team.
You will be helping and supporting children and young people to achieve their EHCP outcomes utilising an individualised and bespoke curriculum.
- £26,000 FTE (pro-rata to £22,000 to reflect term time only working)
- You will have a full UK Driving License, with access to an appropriately insured vehicle.
- You will ideally have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly with knowledge and experience of working with children who have a diagnosis of ADHD and ASD.
- You will have regular practice and clinical supervisions, which offer advice and guidance therapeutically.
- You will work Term Time only, we are open to negotiating working hours.
- Paid mileage (45p per mile)

Desirable Skills
- Experience working within an SEN setting or with children with a diagnosis of ADHD / ASD.
- Experience in supporting vulnerable young people who find engaging socially and emotionally difficult at times.
- Openness to working with children and young people of all ages.
- Awareness of Safeguarding and Protection procedures and regulations.
