Kitchen Assistant – The Garden Room Cafe Bistro (Sutton Coldfield)
Part-Time / Immediate Start Available
The Garden Room is a warm, welcoming cafe bistro in Sutton Coldfield, known for our friendly atmosphere and freshly prepared food. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our busy team.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our kitchen. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, ensuring all workspaces, equipment, and surfaces are kept to a high standard throughout the day.
- Supporting health and safety and food hygiene practices, following procedures and assisting the team in meeting all regulatory requirements
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking, including prepping ingredients and supporting dish assembly
- Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation in line with kitchen procedures
About You
- Hardworking, positive, and eager to learn
- Able to work well under pressure
- Takes pride in cleanliness and organisation
- A good team player with a can-do attitude
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
