Cleaner / Housekeeper – Retirement Apartments
Location: Romsey
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 13:00am – 16:00am (3 hours per day)
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00 noon (4 hours per day)
About the Role
Carter and Faraday are looking for an experienced Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our friendly team. You’ll be responsible for keeping the communal areas of a prestigious retirement apartment development clean, tidy, and welcoming for residents and visitors. This is a temporary position providing sick leave cover for 6-8 weeks but may be longer depending on requirement.
Main Duties:
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas including lounges, hallways, restrooms, guest suites, and laundry rooms
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and emptying bins
- Liaising with the Building Manager to complete any additional cleaning requests
- Following cleaning schedules and ensuring high standards are consistently met
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential)
- Great attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly and professional approach
