Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and caring Health Care Assistant to join our team.This is a position for candidates that are flexible for night and days as required, In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care to residents, support their daily activities, and ensure their comfort and well-being. Your positive attitude and strong communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for everyone in our care home.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support the creation and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly atmosphere
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure documentation is up-to-date
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to coordinate care
Skills
- Experience working in a care home environment or providing home care services
- Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: £25,420.00-£35,797.69 per year
