Overview
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Part Time Chef, Monday to Wednesday, although more or less days could work also.
Ideally you would cover 2 days at one venue in Elie and another day in Kinross. Also to cover any holidays etc.

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, following food safety guidelines.
- Support meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Help with food safety practices including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Serve dishes to guests or assist in plating food for service, ensuring an appealing presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices in a professional setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and support overall kitchen operations.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
