We're looking for an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team at our national office. If you're highly organised, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Working Hours
This is an office-based position with flexible, part-time hours available for the right candidate.
Core office hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Part-time hours are negotiable depending on experience and availability.
What You'll Be Doing
As an integral member of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their requirements
- Managing customer enquiries and expectations professionally
- Logging enquiries, preparing quotations, and submitting them after pricing
- Using a field management platform to assist and plan current and upcoming jobs
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Managing incoming telephone calls and emails, directing enquiries where appropriate
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer and internal queries
- Ensuring all enquiries are resolved efficiently with a customer-focused approach
- Coordinating, checking, and filing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the efficient day-to-day workflow of the office
- Providing cover during lunch breaks and holiday periods when required
- Working effectively to meet deadlines in a busy office environment
About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 3 years' experience in an administrative or office-based role
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workloads, work independently, and use your initiative
- Confidence analysing and interpreting data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience communicating with suppliers, contractors, and customers
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A full, clean driving licence
