Immigration Paralegal (UK Immigration) – Office Based

Shams Britvisa Lawyers Ltd is looking for an experienced, motivated and organised Immigration Paralegal to join our growing immigration team.
This is a fully office-based position. The successful candidate must be able to attend our Manchester office 3–5 days per week and be punctual. Working days and hours will be discussed during the interview. Training will be provided.
Main Duties
- Assisting with UK visa and immigration applications from instruction to submission.
- Completing online UK visa and immigration application forms.
- Uploading supporting documents to the relevant Home Office application portals.
- Responding promptly to client enquiries via WhatsApp, email and telephone.
- Handling approximately 10–15 client calls per day.
- Conducting client follow-up calls and providing regular case updates.
- Booking client appointments and managing diaries.
- Preparing and issuing client care letters, invoices and other legal documents.
- Managing client files and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Carrying out general immigration administration and case management.
- Requesting supporting documents from clients and maintaining communication throughout their matter.
- Assisting with IAA compliance requirements, including maintaining compliant client files, preparing compliance documentation and ensuring matters are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the legal team with day-to-day immigration casework.
- Delivering an excellent standard of client care at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in UK visas forms filling and immigration sector .
- Strong knowledge of UK immigration law, Home Office procedures and online application systems.
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding client care and telephone manner.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and online immigration systems.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, reliable and proactive.
- Must be punctual and able to attend the Manchester office on time each working day.
- Must be able to work from our Manchester office on a daily basis.
