The Role
We are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Pick out customer orders against a sales invoice/pick list.
· Pick and securely package items to be shipped via courier.
· Loading and unloading delivery/supplier/customer vehicles.
· Ensure stock is stored in an organised and tidy fashion.
· Maintaining a safe working environment with a high level of tidiness and cleanliness.
· Work closely with the wider team to manage and maintain healthy stock levels.
· Carry out other potential duties as requested by the Management Team.

Weekly working hours are as follows:
· Monday – Friday
· 7:30am – 4:30pm (4:00pm finish on Friday)
· No weekend or bank holidays
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a positive individual with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude to join our team. Prospective candidates will meet the following criteria:
· Current forklift license is preferred but not essential (full forklift training and license will be provided if necessary)
· Existing product knowledge is again ideal but not essential, as full training around products will be provided.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Competent numeracy and literacy skills.
· Must be physically capable, with a reasonable degree of physical fitness due to the heavy nature of the work.
· A positive attitude, with excellent levels of attention to detail and organisation are essential.
· Full UK driving license.

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
