Under My Wing Care and Support is a small, family run company.
We recruit support workers to support people within the community.
We provide home care and support, we provide domestic support inc shopping, meal preparation and support, medication support, befriending and companionship, wellbeing checks and much more all within our clients own homes, covering Bourne, Stamford, The Deepings, Grantham and all the surrounding areas.
About the Role;
The support we provide allows us to meet every clients needs. the time and passion we have to enhance peoples lives within the community is second to none, ensuring all other aspects are covered and promoting positive outcomes for the individuals.
You will need to;
- You will engage with clients, assist them in their routines, and provide companionship, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster a positive environment, allowing clients to thrive in their daily activities.
- You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of companionship and support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering meaningful relationships.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and patient monitoring.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviours to the appropriate team members.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work closely with family, friends and external healthcare providers (DRs, DNs, Social Workers) all to support individuals needs in the community.
Do to our high demand within the Care sector we are looking for extra Befriender's and Support workers to join our amazing team. We currently have full time and part time hours available.

In return, we ask that you can provide;
- The Availability to work alternate weekends (These are often not full days)
- A full UK driving license is essential
- The right to work in the UK.
- Must be 18 years and over.
- Previous experience desirable especially with dementia, but not essential
- The passion to want to make a difference
- An approachable and friendly personality
- Able complete an enhanced DBS and training to support our clients in their homes.
