Domestic Classroom Assistant
At First Steps Day Care we pride ourselves on delivering excellent teaching and learning. In order for our brilliant Nursery Practitioners to dedicate their time to our children throughout the day, we are looking for a Classroom Domestic Assistant to support with the smooth running of our classrooms.
The role will include: -
Setting up dining tables for mealtimes
Washing up bowls and cups
Assisting with setting up activities
General tidying throughout the day
Setting up and tidying the garden area
Assisting children with hand washing
Bathroom supervision
Assisting with extra-curricular activities such as Forest School, Rhythm Time, Yoga lessons and trips out
Setting up beds for sleep time
General domestic support
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in cleaning or a domestic role, has willingness to get stuck in and support where needed, and someone who has a happy and friendly disposition!
Please note the role does not include teaching children or liaising with parents, but a full DBS check will be carried out once positions are appointed. The role would be Monday – Friday. (Hours to be discussed). We close on Bank Holidays and in between Christmas and New Year.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour

- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
