Due to unforeseen circumstances, we urgently need an experienced XYZ Turner to start work immediately.
You will be responsible for programming and operating our new XYZ RLX 780. You will produce precision parts from technical drawings and will play a key role in maintaining quality standards throughout manufacture, with the ability to produce high quality parts in a quick and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate XYZ lathe to produce precision components
- 1 off and small batch items.
- Machine to drawing requirements, with the occasional tight tolerance
- Inspect your own work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Work within Company published tolerances.
- Troubleshoot general engineering issues regarding machining.
- Handle raw materials.
- Other duties as defined by the Board of Director, as and when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a XYZ Turner
- Experienced background and track record in machining.
- Ability to read Engineering Drawings and converse comfortably on a technical level.
- Methodical approach.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and numeracy skills.
- Self-motivated/like to keep busy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good all round team player.
SALARY DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE.
