Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Moped or Bike Delivery Rider with a valid CBT licence to join our dynamic delivery team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of orders while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour. Prior experience in customer service and strong communication skills are desirable to excel in this position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a moped or bicycle to deliver goods to customers within designated areas
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, adhering to scheduled routes
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers during deliveries
- Handle goods with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition
- Keep delivery equipment clean and well-maintained
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
Requirements
- Valid CBT licence for moped or bicycle riding is essential
- Proven experience in customer service or roles requiring strong communication skills is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently
- Good physical fitness to handle deliveries, including lifting parcels when necessary
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- A responsible attitude towards safety and adherence to traffic laws
