Duties
- Safely handle materials, including loading, unloading, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods efficiently
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update records, and coordinate stock movements
- Pick and pack orders accurately to fulfill customer requests promptly
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and accessibility
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet safety and quality standards
- Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks as needed to keep equipment in optimal condition
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Hands-on experience with materials handling, including heavy lifting and load/unload procedures
- Knowledge of forklift operation and certification is a plus but can be obtained during onboarding
- Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude for troubleshooting equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and quality assurance
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing, lifting, and moving items regularly
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software is beneficial
