Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Weekend Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the production floor and production facilities during weekend shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments.
Experience of operating a Ride-on scrubber drier would be helpful but full training will be given.
The hours of work will be 06.00-14.30 / 14.00-22.00 Saturday and Sunday, we are looking for 2 operatives to do a rotating shift one week earlier and one week lates. However, this can be discussed at interview stage.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and public areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to clean floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soaps, and toilet roll as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles and operating a scrubber drier is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking weekend work with flexible hours.
