Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private households or commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated areas to high standards of hygiene
- Organise cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Occasionally prepare light refreshments or organise kitchen areas as needed (cooking skills are a bonus)
Experience
- Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred
- Hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable
- Experience in domestic or residential cleaning environments is advantageous
- Skills in cooking or customer service can be beneficial but are not essential
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required for success in this role
