Join The Opportunity Provider, an award-winning training provider, as a Business Development Manager with a focus on the Adult Health and Social Care sector. What You'll Be Doing:
Developing and implementing business development strategies aligned with client and company goals.
Applying strong care sector knowledge to identify market opportunities and build tailored training solutions.
Working towards key targets .
Managing a portfolio of key client accounts and extending their lifetime value.
Identifying new business opportunities, market growth areas, and commercial partnerships. Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders across industries.
Representing The Opportunity Provider at local and national events and conferences.
Collaborating with internal teams (Delivery, Marketing, Curriculum, and Quality) to deliver bespoke training solutions.
Assisting with negotiations and securing new partnerships.
Maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant CRM records.
Your typical week will include working remotely from home, with occasional travel across England for client meetings, industry events, and stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Need to Bring:
Experience in business development within apprenticeships or work-based learning ideally with experience in the care industry.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and driving growth.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and sell to senior managers across face-to-face, email, and phone interactions.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of CRM systems.
Outstanding organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
A willingness to travel across England for meetings and events.
