Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative/Picker, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing goods for shipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Monday - Friday
8.15am - 4.45pm including 30 minute paid lunch break
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick items from storage locations to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
- Operate forklift safely to move heavy or bulky items around the warehouse.
- Prepare packages for shipping by packing items securely, labeling accurately, and conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch.
- Maintain organised stock levels by stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory updates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting is preferred.
- Forklift license advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail for picking accuracy, quality control, and stock management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
